So, if you wish to have a highly featured Forum running from your site - www.yourdomain.co.uk/forum/ - you now can.
Your site users can discuss online subjects relevant to your site - with you as the site owner in direct control - plus take advantage of many other great Forum features as listed below.
The site owner has full permissions as the Forum Administrator - or can assign others to be the Forum Administrator - so following initial setup Forum Administration is directly controlled by the site owner.
Forum Features:
- Various levels of Forum organisation, beginning with a Conference, which has Forums, which has Threads, which has Messages.
- Subscriptions. Users can subscribe to either a conference, forum, or thread, allowing them to keep up to date without having to visit the site.
- Member Levels - this is an excellent way to indicate which of your users have participated in discussions.
- Send On Post - this feature will send every single post to the administrator. This is a useful way to make sure people are not abusing your forums.
- Moderators - give users the ability to clean up bad posts.

The Forum module is Open Source code provided by Raymond Camden, a well known and respected member of the Coldfusion community.

- Set up of e.mail box specifically for Forum matters, for example forum@yourdomain.co.uk
- Bandwidth ("Fair Play" policy applicable)
